Day One: Blood Testing Event
The Health Fair kicked off with a blood testing event that welcomed approximately 120 participants from both within the society and the local community. The participants received seamless services from registration to blood draw, followed by refreshments. The testing was conducted by lab technicians from ADG completely free of charge to participants.
Day Two: Health Consultations and Specialist Services
On the second day, attendees returned to collect their lab results and receive personalized consultations with a diverse team of medical professionals. The lineup of medical experts included six primary care doctors—Dr. Anita Gangar, Dr. Ashish Tolia, Dr. Bipin Turakhia, Dr. Pooja Mehta, Dr. Sneha Sheth, and Dr. Vipul Shah—offering valuable insights and advice. Additionally, the event featured consultations with specialists such as an allergist (Dr. Dipa Sheth), a gastroenterologist (Dr. Deepak Merchant), a pulmonologist (Dr. Kinjal Sheth), a cardiologist (Dr. Mahesh Shah), ophthalmologists (Dr. Sushil Jain and Dr. Tanvi Shah), a dentist (Dr. Yash Mehta), and physical therapists (Renuka Jain and Shraddha Jain). In addition, participants took advantage of vision and bone density screenings.
Lastly, the event featured participation by the NIH All of Us program team in collaboration with representatives from Mary’s Center. Both JSMW and Mary’s Center are proud community partners supporting the All of Us program initiative. The All of Us Research Program is part of an effort to advance individualized health care by enrolling one million or more participants to contribute their health data over many years.
Looking forward, the JSMW Health Fair exemplifies the society’s dedication to holistic community well-being. By offering accessible health services and fostering collaboration among medical professionals, JSMW continues to make a positive impact on the broader community.
