Unfortunately\, our volunteering activities were temporarily suspended in recent years due to the Covid pandemic. However\, we are thrilled to announce that the new facility\, the Klein Center\, established by DC Central Kitchen\, is now open for us to resume our volunteer work. The Klein Center\, located at 2121 1st Street SW\, Washington\, DC 20024\, is not a homeless shelter but serves as a central hub for meal preparation and distribution to various shelters and schools throughout DC. This modern two-story facility features a state-of-the-art\, computerized industrial kitchen where only trained professionals are allowed to cook meals.\nThe sponsor for this November 2023 event is Kantibhai & Sudhaben Udani.
